Diehard UFC Fans from around the world flocked to Boston this weekend for the huge UFC Fan Expo weekend, all topped off with a huge fight card for UFC 118. If you couldn’t make it to Boston this weekend, here’s a look at some of what you missed.

From the I’m Ready Showcase Backed by the Roots Radics Mixed by Peter Chemist Produced by Rusty 1983 Anthony Johnson (December 25, 1959) is a Jamaican reggae singer who is known for the 1980s hit song “Gunshot”. Mr.Johnson may be characterized as a roots rock, lovers rock reggae artist who specializes in singing music with positive and uplifting themes. Anthony was born in Kingston, Jamaica at the Jubilee Hospital. His mother Cynthia Hamilton was a market woman by trade, and his father was a Barbadian who worked at the Sombero Club in Kingston. Anthonys parents had three children together before separating. They also had other children separately, so Johnson has several siblings. Johnson was raised by his mother in a tenement yard from the heart of Trench Town. Byahs yard at 15½ James Street is significant in Johnson’s development as an artist and musician. This yard doubles as a popular dancehall on weekends and holidays. Some of the big sound systems of the era played at dances in Byah’s yard. As a child, Johnson could not help hearing the hot Studio One and Treasure Isles hits of the 60s and early 70s. Anthony Johnson first came into prominence as one of the vocal trio in Mystic Eyes who had a massive roots hit with Perilous Time. He was soon found amongst the company of Jamaica’s top producers such as Jah Thomas, Linval Thompson and Prince Jammy. This was one of the last LP’s he made before the digital age took over.
